A background in farming, banking and small business provide a very strong foundation for Darren’s role as Counsellor for the Hay region.
Darren knows first hand what it is like to be part of a farming family. He grew up on a sheep, beef and cropping property at Berrigan in the southern Riverina.
A long career in banking, including roles as agribusiness manager, servicing customers all over New South Wales and Victoria, gives Darren invaluable expertise and knowledge. Using this skill set , Darren has been assisting farmers to assess their financial situation and to use this information to determine the options that will allow them to move forward.
For much of his banking career, Darren was based in Hay and as the owner of a local business he is part of the community. Darren has an extensive network of contacts in the rural, business and financial sectors throughout
